Photograph of marriage of Samuel Berelowitz and Olga Golda Abelkop. The photograph was taken in Oudtshoorn, Cape Province in 1908. Samuel Berelowitz was the son of Jacob Zvi and Sarah Berelowitz of Oudtshoorn. Olga was the daughter of Isaac and Elka Abelkop. Samuel Berelowitz had a brother, Chaim Berelowitz and his sisters were Mary Klass, Jessie Rebecca Samols and Zlata Sieff. Yetta Kaplan (nee Markowitz) was a sister of Mary Berelowitz (nee Markowitz), wife of Chaim Berelowitz. Photographed in the back row are Harry Klass (3rd), his wife Mary Klass (nee Berelowitz) (4th) holiding a child and Chaim Berelowitz (9th).Standing on the far right is the Elka Abelkop, mother of the bride and grandmother of Eileen Birman (nee Lewis). In the middle row sitting to the right of the groom is Yetta Kaplan (nee Markowitz) and on the left of the bride is Hendrick (Henry or Abel) Kaplan, husband of Yetta Kaplan. Chaim Berelowitz's wife Mary Berelowitz (nee Markowitz) is next to him. The children sitting in the front row from left to right: Percy Samols (1st)and his sister Blume Levin (nee Samols) (2nd), children of Samuel Berelowitz's sister Jessie Rebecca Samols (nee Berelowitz)
