Speech cue card 9: Jews for Justice did not purport to represent the whole Jewish community. It was a channel for for those Jews who also felt the need to speak out on Jews. Jews for Justice amied to promote a greater awareness through discussion, debate and flow of information.

Speech cue card 8: Jews were brought together with 2 things in common. Firstly, they were all Jews. Secondly, they desired to express their opposition to apartheid and its manifestations of oppression and violence. Jews For Justice was a new channel for Jews to draw back into the community those Jews who were forced to look elsewhere for their political involvement and then left the fold.

Speech cue card 6: At the Youth Forum at Albow Centre, they discussed the need for a Jewish response and future action. The following week they met and constituted the organisation Jews for Justice. A voluntary steering committee was established, comprised of members of two generations.
