Reading from left to right are, the Author, his cousin Sophie (Zipe), her husband Hessel Levy, their daughter Minnie, Mrs Arnold Levy, wife of the Author, and Aaron, the son of Sophy and Hessel. Aaron and Minnie were the ninth generation in direct line to be in occupation of the house.

Darbenai Lithuania, "House owned by Toutz family"

This house is one of a few on a street in Darbenai, most of which have some inhabitants standing outside the house looking at the camera. The Toutz family house has people standing on the front porch, with children sitting on the steps leading up to the house.
