Portrait photograph of a man who is seated with his left arm resting on an ornamental table. This 'Cabinet card' was taken by P. Piotrowicz of Kovno (Kaunas), Lithuania. In 1877 Piotras Simonas Piotrovičius bought a photographic workshop in Kaunas , which at the time was located in the Nikolajaus prospect. He made a contract with A. Strausas, who was a famous portraitist and a pioneer of fine-art and theatre photography in Lithuania.
