The South African Jewish Museum's archives (SAJM) Jewish Digital Archive Project is the digital component of the SAJM archive. It aims to maintain a record of Southern Africa's social, economic and political history. JDAP comprises personal narratives and special collections linked to organizations, local communities, and cultural events.
The Barsel Family Photograph and Document Collection comprises a number of photographs of Esther Barsel and her family, including her husband Hymie Barsel. From photographs of Esther Barsel's childhood in Raguva, Lithuania to her political and activist career during Apartheid in South Africa. The Collection also contains a few documents including correspondence and geneology relating to the Barsel and Bahar families.

The Birman Family Collection comprises a number of photographs depicting the life and events of several generations of the Birman family. Amongst these photographs are a number of wedding images and photographs of Zionist Federation colleagues.

The Boyd Video Collection contains digitised footage. It was donated by Wahne Boyd and contains videos of the Boyd family's travels around South Africa, family gatherings, and water sports.

The Faiga Video Collection contains digitised footage. It was donated by Eunice Faiga and contains videos of the Faiga family in various locations around South Africa and at family events.

The Feigels Photograph Collection comprises a number of photographs of the Johannesburg based deli and the Feigel family.

The Freedman Video Collection contains digitised footage. It was donated by Richard Freedman and contains videos of the Freedman family at Plettenberg Bay and at home.

The Friedlander Family Collection comprises a number of photographs and documents. The photographs are largely individual portraits and images of graves, and the documents comprise correspondence, postcards, newspaper clippings and family documents. Of particular note are correspondence written in pre-Second World War Lithuania and letters written to and from South African author Olive Shreiner.

Donated by Sally Singer, the Gitta Usdin Photograph and Document Collection consists mostly of published pieces of poetry found in newspapers. Born in Latvia, Gitta wrote mainly in Yiddish. Translations of some of the pieces have also been included in the collection. The few photos present are of Gitta and the Usdin family.
