Group Photograph of the family taken on the steps of the house in Krottingen, Lithuania. This photograph was taken in 1923 by Samuel Jacobs, brother-in-law of the Author. Reading from left to right are, the Author, his cousin Sophie (Zipe), her husband Hessel Levy, their daughter Minnie, Mrs Arnold Levy, wife of the Author, and Aaron, the son of Sophy and Hessel. Aaron and Minnie were the ninth generation in direct line to be in occupation of the house.
