History

The Jewish Living Archive contains one of the largest collections of historical material relating to the history of Jews in South Africa. These personal papers, community and organizational records, as well as photographs, reveal Jewish life on these shores in all its variety. The Archive - 180 physical collections in all - forms part of the holdings ofthe University of Cape Town's Libraries, Special Collections.
