Photograph of market day in Krekenava. Horse-drawn stalls can be seen on the outskirts of the market square, and vendors as well as buyers are seen in crowds to sell and buy goods. The market is happening outdoors, with a few hundred attendees, and is surrounded by unidentified buildings. Nearest to the camera, in front of the square where the market is taking place, some children are seen playing inside and around a horse-and-cart. One child is standing on the wheel of the horsecart, one is in the process of climbing in or out of the cart, one is looking at the camera but not smiling, another is smiling at the camera, and one more is standing on the other side of the horse-and-cart looking towards the market.
