Scope and content

The Bnoth Zion Collection comprises photographs from the 1980s and 1990’s. Bnoth Zion is a South African women’s outreach organisation.

The images in the collection depict different events and meetings of Bnoth Zion, also known as the Women’s International Zionist Organisation (WIZO). Specific events documented in this collection include World Bible Day, W.P. Zionist Conference, Presenting Israel, Chairman’s Tea and AGMs. There are several prominent names, people, figures, rabbis, speakers, members, and artists in the collection. Distinguished guests to the group are seen photographed beside the group members.
