Photograph of members of the Opeskin family. It was taken in July 1964 during a visit of Yitzchak Ofek to the USSR and was sent to his first cousin, Rebecca Schamroth (nee Opeskin) in Johannesburg. Photographed are his paternal aunt, Rivka Opeskin (nee Alperovich) wife of Meyer Hirsch Opeskin, with the family of his brother Leib (Lova) Opeskin. Photographed standing from left to right are Avraham (Abrasha) Opeskin, Zara Zelikovitch (nee Opeskin) and Leib (Lova) Opeskin. Photographed sitting are Rivka Opeskin (nee Alperovich), Yitzchak Ofek /Opeskin and Hava Nese Opeskin (nee Dimant), wife of Leib (Lova) Opeskin. The family of Leib Opeskin moved to Israel in the 1970s.

Photographed are Meyer Hirsch Opeskin, his wife Rivka Opeskin (nee Alperovich) with their nephew Leib (Lova) Opeskin, eldest son of Izrael Opeskin. Leib (Lova) Opeskin and his family went to live in Israel in the 1970s.
